Welcome to Antonio’s Journal
Hi, I’m Antonio — the writer, photographer, and curator behind every story you’ll find on this site. Antonio’s Journal began as a personal notebook, a quiet corner of the internet where I could record the people, places, recipes, songs, and ideas that caught my attention. Over time it grew into something more: a multi-language project that tries to make culture, food, travel, music, art, and curious facts feel as alive on the page as they do in real life.
What you’ll find here
Each article is the result of slow, deliberate work — reading, traveling, cooking, listening, and asking questions. I publish across several categories: Life & Leisure, Travel & Culture, Food & Recipes, Music & Art, Did You Know?, and Tech & Science. Some pieces are practical guides, others are essays, and a few are simply love letters to things I find beautiful.
How I work
I write everything in first person because I believe stories travel further when they carry a real voice. Sources are checked, recipes are tested, and places are visited whenever possible. When I use AI tools to help with research or drafts, I always rewrite, fact-check, and add my own perspective before publishing — because a journal that doesn’t sound like its author isn’t a journal at all.
Why three blogs
Antonio’s Journal is the English edition of a wider project. The same curiosity lives at eldiariodeantonio.com in Spanish and at ildiariodiantonio.com in Italian. Different languages, same voice — different readers, same conversations.
Get in touch
I love hearing from readers — whether you’ve tried a recipe, disagreed with a take, want to suggest a place to visit, or just want to say hello. You can reach me through the Get in Touch page. Thank you for being here. Stay curious.
